Last March, I photographed Mahsa and Marcel’s wedding at Orangerie Elswout. It was a great day filled with wonderful moments, but most of all with lots of humor! Have you ever seen so many smiling photos at one wedding?
I have had so much fun with Mahsa and Marcel from the very beginning. My lame jokes meshed perfectly with this sweet couple and we even got the laughs during the photo shoot (with a well-deserved shout-out to the humor of the master of ceremonies).
It was clear to see that they love each other tremendously and most of all wanted to enjoy their day with all the loved ones around them. This produced wonderful, spontaneous moments. We were also extremely lucky with the beautiful spring weather and that in March! The sun was shining brightly, adding an extra sunny feel to the day.
Each of the speeches was also hilarious as well as moving. It was nice to see how the guests had really made an effort to say something personal and funny. All in all, Mahsa and Marcel’s wedding was a beautiful day to photograph.
