Liz and Quinten knew exactly what they wanted: spontaneous photos, not too much styling. A day fully focused on being with loved ones, delicious food and, above all, a fantastic celebration.
We started the day in Deventer’s atmospheric City Hall and then went straight to the Gasworks. There we listened to amazing speeches, which made me get to know this lovely couple even better :).
Little did I know then that the hit of the day was yet to come. After all, the dress code for the party was…. crazy hats! And everyone kept to it! What a treat for me as a photographer! Luckily I was also allowed to borrow a nice hat from one of the guests, all to blend in of course ;). Then I dove onto the dance floor and stood among the pirate hats, crazy hats and two (!) disco ball helmets. Can we make this dress code a new trend please?
