The first beach wedding of 2022! And an amazing one. The weather was good, the group was tight and the bride and groom… head over heels in love with each other. I noticed how many wonderful glances Ruben sent to Femke during the day. This touches me when I look at the pictures. They were so sweet together!
I started working at the first look. The suspense built well, as Femke had to walk a long way across the beach before she got to Ruben’s place. After this sweet moment, we went for an hour of shooting on the beach and in the dunes. They did this very naturally, so I almost didn’t have to direct.
After the festive welcome, the ceremony started at Bodhi Beach, a beach pavilion with wicker lampshades, rattan furniture and surf items. By the way, R&F had made the backdrop themselves. It was quite windy, so a tent was set up so that the wedding could still be held outside. One of my favorite pictures is the moment when Ruben lays his head on Femke’s shoulder as she closes her eyes. Can’t handle so much cuteness ;).
Enjoying drinks with their favorite cider, cuddling with their infant son and dining with personalized speeches. In the evening, R&F turned the place upside down with a banging party. I wouldn’t have missed this day for anything.
