“Different” was not only the name of the wedding venue, but also the perfect theme for Joost and Jolinda :).
This super sweet bride and groom did everything in their own unique way. Dressing together instead of separately? Much cozier! Getting married in the middle of the day? No way, rather in the evening, together with all the guests and under a setting sun. A photo shoot and lots of family photos? No, they opted for only spontaneous photos (okay, except for those few sneaky photos with evening light).
And getting married “at the beach”? Of course, but at Strand Anders :).
I got to know Joost and Jolinda better during a short family photo shoot before the wedding. Not so much for posed photos, but to get to know each other in advance. At the wedding, that made it feel like I, Marvin, was at friends’ weddings. So relaxed and laid back, I had to be careful to keep taking pictures haha ;).
The contact remained super nice not only during, but also after the wedding. Together we created a cool album design. I am immensely grateful that “my” wedding couples feel like friends. That’s what makes this work so special.
Oh, and did I mention that I worked with one of the best videographers in the Netherlands on this wedding? Jan made a great film. Fantastic to work with creative creators who are totally dedicated to one specialty.
