NILS + ANNE
Anne and Nils have just started to live together for the first time in a very nice 1930s corner house in Rotterdam. A good reason to put their new home and this great couple in front of the lens.
It was a warm welcome when we arrived; Anne had baked a nice cake. We had a chat with a cup of coffee before we got started. Nils works in the music world, so of course, we let him play his guitar for a while. Anne had already styled the house beautifully, which she also does for everyday living as an interior designer. You may know her from the TV program De Grote Tuinverbouwing, where she is one of the stylists.
It is nice to see how you can do a lot with a camera on a relatively small surface. The sunlight came in through the high windows and we could play with that while shooting. We also tried to work with silhouettes, which is always a fun challenge. They had never done a real photoshoot before, so we hope we enriched them with some great memories!
