Getting married in the Netherlands, but still prefer a vacation feel? Then, of course, you are in the right place in the south of Limburg. Luuk and Noëlle fell in love with Winselerhof, and who could blame them? A courtyard with many plants, rustic timber framing, a vineyard, a wine cellar, and many other beautiful spots. We secretly fell in love with it too!
Noelle started her day with her sisters and mother (in law) in a beautiful room in the carré farmhouse. Then they moved for dressing to the bakery house, where they also slept those days. With trembling hands, Noëlle’s mother buttoned up her dress, which was quite nerve-wracking as her eldest daughter was getting married :).
Luuk prepared in another part of Winselerhof, along with his own family. In doing so, their mischievous little dog was helping in his own way ;).
After a wonderful moment between Noelle and her father, it was time to see Luuk in the vineyard. An emotional moment between the two of them.
After some group photos, we took the bride and groom for a photo shoot, starting in the vineyard. Then we spent some time in the wine cellar, which also had some dramatic light coming in.
The ceremony! Located on a knoll, they said “yes” to each other. Grandma was allowed to come and bring the rings and she performed that task very professionally. Her wrinkled hands holding the pillow so dearly, lovely! We heard her say earlier that day that she never thought she would still be a ring girl at her age. How sweet!
The afternoon filled with cake, wine, speeches in the courtyard. Unexpectedly, it did get quite warm, so Noelle’s little sister got some more oiling up in between wine pouring. We ourselves find these funny moments that we also like to capture, in addition to the big moments, because it tells something personal about the mood of the day.
After dinner, some hilarious bits followed in the ballroom. But check out how atmospheric this room is with the yellow lights! All in all, a very nice day for photography.
Luuk and Noëlle sent us a note after seeing the photos:
“Dear Marvin and Laurette,
How incredibly beautiful the photos turned out. The whole day, with even all the little details, passes by. We are really glad you both were able to attend our day! We enjoy the photos every day!”
