TIJMAR + ELINE
A real festival wedding in the backyard, how cool is that? Tijmar and Eline transformed a lawn next to the parental home into a real festival site with a large tent, a homemade bar, and food trucks.
The day started early at Tijmar, he put on his suit somewhat tense and wondered what Eline would look like! At Eline’s home, the whole family was preparing and soon Tijmar was at the door in his Volvo oldtimer.
After a photo shoot on the heather near Gortel it was time for the ceremony, outside among the hay bales. After beautiful vows and speeches, there was a relaxed drink and barbecue, after which the whole group left for church. In the church, I made a number of atmospheric images, in which Eline’s grandfather absolutely stole the show for me when he left the church with the bridal couple.
In the meantime, the “festival site” was completely filled with food trucks and a live band. What a nice way to throw a party in the backyard between the fire pits and under the lights.
