Getting married on an estate always has something magical about it. The atmosphere of creaky wood floors and stately halls is great, and as photographers, we love the light coming in through the large windows. Another big advantage is that when the weather is bad, it is always nice to be able to shoot inside as well, still very convenient with the unpredictable Dutch weather.

On a beautiful sunny morning in May, I drove my car full of camera gear to Parc Broekhuizen, a country house in the woods of Leersum. Also the wedding location of Mira and Ricardo, who chose this place with consideration.
